Instagram Launching UPI Payments in India: Shop Directly Through Reels & Posts


 

In a major digital commerce update, Instagram is set to launch UPI-based in-app payments in India, enabling users to shop and pay without leaving the app.


This feature, currently in beta testing, will allow users to purchase products directly from Reels, Stories, and influencer posts using UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and BHIM.
